This November I will be running the New York City Marathon, something I have wanted to do for a long time. What makes this especially meaningful is the chance to run with purpose. I am joining Team Lemon to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in the fight against childhood cancer.

Alex’s is not just any charity to me. I have known the Scott family for many years, and their story has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Watching the incredible impact that Alex’s vision has had, growing from a small lemonade stand into the nation’s largest independent childhood cancer charity, has been deeply personal and inspiring. Supporting this cause has always felt like part of my family’s story too.

Every donation helps fund vital research, support families, and move us closer to cures. Childhood cancer remains tragically underfunded, yet every step forward brings hope to children and families who need it most.

Running 26.2 miles will be a challenge, but it does not compare to the challenges kids with cancer face every single day. I hope you will consider supporting me, whether through a donation or by simply sharing my page and spreading the word. Together, we can make a difference.
