Hi friends and family,
I wanted to share something really special with you.
This fall, I’ll be running the Chicago Marathon — one of the world’s major marathons — and it will be my first full marathon (26.2 miles!). This has been a personal goal of mine for a long time, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to chase it in such a meaningful way.
As many of you know, I am grateful every single day for Vincent’s health. Walking through our family’s pediatric cancer journey forever changed me, and along the way I felt a strong calling to turn that experience into something that could help others. Running for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundationfeels like a beautiful way to do just that.
Distance running has also become an important part of my own healing — helping me work through the trauma, fears, and emotions that come with loving a child who has faced cancer. Each mile has been a reminder of strength, resilience, and hope.
I’m raising money for pediatric cancer research, and every dollar raised helps fund lifesaving research, support families, and move us closer to cures for childhood cancer. My fundraising goal is $2,200, and I would be so honored if you would consider supporting me — whether through a donation, sharing my fundraiser, or simply cheering me on during training.
Every mile I run and every dollar raised is for children and families fighting battles far tougher than 26.2 miles.
Thank you for your constant love, prayers, and encouragement — and for helping me turn this race into something bigger than myself.
With so much gratitude,
