For the past 20 years, I’ve volunteered, biked, and run hundreds of miles for charities with one shared mission: kicking cancer’s butt. In 2026, I am running the 2026 NYC Marathon with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) — an organization dedicated to curing childhood cancer, one cup of lemonade at a time. 

As someone who hopes to have children in the future, it’s heartbreaking to know that cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in American children. Approximately 1,800 children lose their lives each year, and nearly 15,000 were diagnosed in 2024 alone. 

Throughout this year of training and fundraising, my goal is to raise awareness and critical funding for research that saves lives. 100% of donations support research for better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. ALSF also provides emotional, financial, and logistical support to families navigating the unimaginable. Children deserve long, healthy lives filled with possibility.
