When Teagan was 4 years old she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has endured 2 and 1/2 years of chemotherapy, surgeries, blood trasfusions, emergency room visits, hair loss and extended stays in the hospital. Throughout those 2 and 1/2 years Teagan continued to draw, paint and color happy pictures-pictures of a healthy girl playing in the sunshine; fashion; flowers; butterflies and horses. She maintained a cheerful outlook on life throughout and was continuously able to brighten a room-whether or not she had her gorgeous long, wavy hair! Today Teagan is a healthy, beautiful and vibrant daughter, sister and friend to many! Teagan is 8 years old, enjoys horseback riding, twirling with the Simsbury Spinners, art and gymanstics. She continues to brighten any room she enters with her happy smile, twinkling eyes and, renewed gorgeous, long, wavy hair.
