Each year, Kiwanis clubs around the world join in a day of service. This year on April 2, 2011, Kiwanis will be joining Alex’s Lemonade Stand in fighting childhood cancer. The Kiwanis Club of West Houston will be selling lemonade at the HEB on the corner of Westheimer and Kirkwood. Our goal is to raise $1,000 for cancer research. Finding a cure for the devastating illness which takes the lives of over 2,500 children per year is so important. Your donations will go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a 501(c)3 charity, dedicated to the cause.
