As many of you know, I ran the Broad Streeet run in Memory of Lauren Maziarz in May. So now, I'm going to do it again. In November, I plan to run the Philadelphia half marathon also to benefit Alexs lemonade. This foundation does an amazing job in funding research into e cure for childhood cancer. I know that many of you have already recently been very generous with your wallets--please do not feel that you have to do it again. But if you can, or if you weren't able to give in the spring, please consider donating, a dollar, ten dollars or more....every cent counts! I am so inspired by the stories behind Alex's Lemonade, that I just have to do it again! As a mom and a pediatrician, this Foundation is just the perfect fit for me. If I can use my passion for running to make a difference in the lives of children, then every step is worth it. My thirteen miles is nothing when compared to a childs fight against cancer.
