Bob Sflaos and his wife Beth started Bobby J's Old Fashioned Hamburgers about 13 years ago. When the restaurant first opened Beth was with QVC where she first became involved with Alex's Lemonade Foundation. She continued her involvement for the past 8 years after leaving QVC because she had fallen in love with the idea of a young girl being so selfless in giving back to the other kids battling cancer and the doctors who help them fight the cancer. In July of 2008 Bob was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. He was very optimistic about his future in beating cancer. After a courageous 18 month battle with his cancer he unfortunately passed away on December 10, 2009. Beth Sflaos has continued the successful business of Bobby J's and wants to give back to the all the cancer patients fighting a courageous battle. Bobby J's will be bringing out Mario Flores and the Soda Creek Band to help raise money for this foundation. We will be selling homemade lemonade throughout the week of march 5th and Mario Flores will play on Saturday March 10, 2012. All proceeds that come from lemonade sales and ticket sales will go directly to the the cancer patients in need.
