Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard of a 4-year-old cancer patient who announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer.

Since Alex set up her first lemonade stand in 2000, over $55 million has been raised to fund research projects and support families affected by childhood cancers. Alex was dedicated to fighting pediatric cancer one cup at a time.
