Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. By the time Alex passed away at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million. Since then, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a worldwide fundraising movement and the largest independent childhood cancer charity in the United States! Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation is a leader in funding pediatric research projects across the globe and providing programs to families affected by childhood cancer 🎗
We have decided to host our first Alex's Lemonade Stand in honor of Beckham and all other children who have had their childhood altered or stolen by cancer. The donations from our Lemonade Stand will go directly to Retinoblastoma Research!
Stop by and enjoy some lemonade at the Victor Central School stadium entrance (by the Sr High building) on Monday June 30th and Tuesday July 1st. Weather permitting, we will be set up from 10:15 - 11:15 each day 🍋 There is no set price for the lemonade, but rather we just ask for a donation in the amount of your choice.
