There are challenges we choose…
And there are battles no one should ever have to face.
This summer, I’m taking on a challenge to honor the real warriors—
the children fighting cancer.
Their courage, their resilience, their strength… it’s unmatched.
And they deserve a world where their fight is shorter, softer, and far more survivable.
So here’s what I’m doing:
I’m swimming 12 miles in 12 hours.
One mile, every hour, on the hour.
For 12 hours straight.
Not for records.
Not for medals.
But for meaning.
Every stroke I take is for the kids still in the hospital beds.
For the parents holding their breath between test results.
For the families praying for a miracle and fighting like hell not to lose hope.
This isn’t just a swim.
This is a stand.
A stand for awareness.
A stand for funding.
A stand for every child who didn’t get to grow up…
and every one still fighting for the chance to.
I’m partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation,
an organization that’s been fueling groundbreaking pediatric cancer research and support for families for over two decades.
They’ve raised hundreds of millions.
But we’re not done.
And I’m not sitting still.
Because when you’re given a healthy body,
When you’re given breath in your lungs and fire in your spirit—
You use it to lift up those who need it most.
So on June 21st , I’ll step into the water.
12 times.
Hour after hour.
Mile after mile.
And with every lap, I’ll be swimming for something bigger than myself.
I’m asking for your support.
Whether it’s a donation, a share, or showing up to cheer—
every bit helps us raise money, raise awareness, and raise hope.
We can’t take away the pain these kids go through.
But we can remind them they’re not alone.
We can remind them that people are fighting with them and for them.
And I’ll be doing my part—one mile at a time.
Let’s turn endurance into impact.
Let’s turn pain into purpose.
Let’s turn every drop of sweat into something that saves lives.
Join me.
