When
Every day, about 800 children are diagnosed with cancer around the world. That's about 300,000 new cases each year in children under 20. Despite this, less than 4% of the federal government's annual cancer research budget is allocated to childhood cancer. Now, consider the portion of that 4% that funds rare cancers such as hepatoblastoma, a pediatric liver cancer that affects 1 in a million.
Two years ago, Clayton became that 1 in a million. He was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma at the age of three. After eight months of treatment, which included chemotherapy developed in the 1970s for adults, and a life-saving liver transplant, he became a hepatoblastoma survivor.
It's because of the families and supporters that came before us that he has no evidence of disease. Clayton has a future because they.
Our kids deserve better. In Clayton's honor, we are raising funds to support research for hepatoblastoma, a rare pediatric liver cancer that affects 1 in a million.
We want to do our part to contribute to improved treatment and better outcomes for children affected by hepatoblastoma in the future.
Today, the money you donate has the potential to make a huge difference in the lives of kids with cancer (and their families). Your donation will fund research into safer, more effective treatments and cures. Give today!
