Get ready for the sweetest event of the year! We are thrilled to announce that New York School for the Deaf, also known as Fanwood, has partnered with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research.

Fanwood students and staff members will be hosting a lemonade stand from June 2 through June 5, 2026, at two locations: on campus at Fanwood and off campus nearby at Carmines Italian Deli & Cafe in Elmsford. It is kids helping kids, and we could not be more proud! 

This is also a wonderful learning experience for our students. They will practice fundraising, community service, and real world communication skills when interacting with hearing adults, building confidence along the way.

We warmly encourage you to come out and support our students in person if you are able. Every cup of lemonade purchased makes a real difference in the lives of children fighting cancer.
