Carter joined BBMA in 2019, starting in our toddler program and continuing through prek and summer camp. He was truly one of a kind, radiating love, laughter, and joy. His beautiful smile and that mischievous twinkle in his eye could light up any room! When he faced his diagnosis at just 5 years old, he did so with incredible determination, grace, and humor, inspiring us all. After losing Carter 17 months later, we became even more committed to fighting for children who come after him. DIPG is a universally fatal pediatric brain tumor with no treatment and no cure.
