After they met in kindergarten, Samantha and JB decided they wanted to hold a lemonade stand for their family members with cancer - JB's younger brother, Mac, and Samantha's grandmother, Georgette. They held their first stand to raise money in 2016. Today, Samantha’s grandmother and JB’s little brother are cancer-free, but the two (with their siblings, Mac and Josie) want to keep holding lemonade stands each June during Lemonade Days.

They were inspired by Alex Scott’s legacy of turning something as simple as a lemonade stand into a nationwide charity that is funding cures for childhood cancers, one cup at a time. Samantha, JB, Mac, and Josie’s community shares their passion, with family, friends, and neighbors consistently donating to their stand year after year – and they’re excited to hold their 10th year of stands in June! 

No matter how big or small the contribution is, remember that every little bit helps in the fight against childhood cancer. 

This year, their goal is to raise $7,000. With that amount added to what they have raised over the past 9  years of lemonade stands, that would bring them to a grand total of $40,000!
