We are a group of students from Arcadia High School organizing a community dance fundraiser in support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to advancing research and support for childhood cancer. We are seeking the involvement of local dancers to help make this event a meaningful and impactful success.
The fundraiser will be held at Sierra Madre Dance Center (154 W Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra Madre, CA 91024), on June 14th at 2-4PM
This event will follow a format similar to a typical Jog-A-Thon, in which participants gather pledges from friends and family (for example, a set amount per turn completed). Then, dancers will take part in structured rounds, including pirouettes, à la seconde turns, and a final freestyle round. We welcome dancers of all ages and levels to join the fun! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, we'd love to see you there—so don't hesitate to sign up.
Additional Info:
• All proceeds will be donated directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation
• Fun prizes will be awarded to top 3 donors!
• Participants will be asked to RSVP via the registration form
Your support would not only help raise vital funds but also inspire other young dancers to contribute to a meaningful cause. Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions. We would be happy to provide additional details as they become available.
