Heroes come in all shapes and sizes.  A hero is a 9 month old baby fighting cancer with a smile in footed pajamas.  Heroes are the siblings who's worlds are turned upside down with a cancer diagnosis.  And heroes are the friends that lift us all up along the way.  Alex was 4 years old when she held her first lemonade stand while fighting cancer, and bravely raised 1 million dollars before gaining her wings.  Every day, there are almost 800 new cases of childhood cancer around the world.  And with less than 4% of the federal government'sfunding for cancer research dedicated to pediatric cancer, these kids rely on independent charity's like ALSF for life saving treatment. 

Our goal is fundraising is for better, safer treatment,with fewer side effects.  We hope the next generation will never hear pediatric and oncology in the same sentence.  We are champions for hope...one cup at a time.
