The awesome kids of the Sunday School of Incarnation Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church in Drexel Hill, PA are holding their annual "Alex's Lemonade Stand" on Sunday, June 13, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM (times are approximate) at several individual locations, and at ANY time virtually RIGHT HERE!!
Alex held her first lemonade stand 21 years ago, a few months after her fourth birthday; IHS Sunday School has been running its own stand to benefit the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for 15 years and it has become a beloved project for both the kids and the community. When we were unable to gather together last year, our families ran stands in their front yards. We raised the most money ever at more than $2,000. In all, our Sunday School has raised more than $9,000 to carry on Alex Scott's amazing legacy helping pay for research, cancer treatments and help offset expenses for families to travel with their child to receive potential lifesaving treatments. Our kids want to help other kids and their passion is nothing short of inspiring.
Out of an abundance of caution, we will again run our lemonade stands separately together. We can't wait to see your smiling faces then. And if you can't make it, but would still like to contribute, you are very welcome to make your contribution here. Thanks for your support!
