When
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year-old Alexandra "Alex" Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for childhood cancer. Her spirit and determination inspired others to support her cause, and when she passed away at age 8, she had already raised $1 million. Since then, the Foundation has evolved into a national fundraising movement and is one of the leading funders of pediatric cancer research in the U.S.
Make a difference in the lives of kids with cancer by turning your stream into a fundraiser. Whether doing a 24-hour livestream, taking part in an organized tournament or playing a couple rounds with friends, you can make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.
Kids deserve a life filled of laughter and joy, not a life filled of doctor visits and chemotherapy. I lost my dad back in 2019 due to Leukemia, I know all about doctor visits and the constant chemotherapy and transfusions.
But for a child to have to go through what my dad went through breaks my heart more. My plan is to not help 1 child but help as many kids as I can, so they don't have to have a life filled of doctor visits and therapy's.
