In celebration of Riley’s 3rd birthday, we will be hosting a fundraiser to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! You can join us by helping plan this event, attending the event, or making a donation.  Donations will help pay for research to find better treatments and cures. 

Every day, there are almost 800 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 300,000 new cases of cancer that affect children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research dedicated to childhood cancers each year.

ALSF emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. Her spirit and determination inspired others to support her cause, and when she passed away at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million.

Riley's Birthday is on May 28th. During that week, we encourage you to wear your "Team Riley" shirt, enjoy your favoriate lemon flavored beverage, and help us share Alex and Riley's stories. On Saturday, June 3rd, the lemonade stand and blood drive will take place at the Park Ridge Public Library to honor our brave Riley. Food, games, activities, and lemonade are free of charge - we just ask that you make a donation of any amount.
