Miles for Smiles stems from Mrs. Curran's goal to finsih the Lake Placid Ironman on  July 23. To complete the Ironman she must swim 2.4 miles, ride her bike for 112 miles and run 26.2 miles all in one day. That adds up to 140.6 miles!!!!

She is training hard but needs your help. Can you donate $1.40, or $14.60, or $140.60 or any amout that equates to Mrs. Curran's 140.6 mile effort? 

Our school day is 6 hours 20 minutes long. It will take Mrs. Curran longer to ride her bike the 112 miles!!! As she walks around the school, ask her what her training for the day is. Sometimes she works out before school! Give her some postive energy when you see her looking tired and wish her well.
