Jesse is a well-rounded young man. His favorite things to do are going fishing and playing baseball and basketball. He is super kind and always does everything with such passion. He has always pushed through difficult things and comes out on top with everything he does.

In May 2024, Jesse began complaining of leg pain. It would come and go, and since he was into sports and the outdoors, his family didn’t think much of it. It was probably just a pulled muscle or growing pains from a major growth spurt. But by July, Jesse was still in pain.

One night, his mom, Nikki, decided to take him to urgent care just to get things checked out. Jesse had an X-ray that found two possible small non-ossifying fibromas, but they didn’t know what they were, so Nikki then took Jesse to his primary care doctor. His doctor sent them to an orthopedic, which led to an MRI. That’s when the mass on Jesse’s sacrum bone was discovered. Jesse had Ewing sarcoma.

After 14 rounds of chemotherapy and 36 rounds of radiation therapy, Jesse finally reached remission! He rang the bell to celebrate the end of his treatment on April 17, 2026, and his last scans were all clear. He is scheduled to remove his port on June 8.

Jesse’s family is so grateful for the amount of support they’ve received throughout his fight. His hospital team at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta have been nothing short of amazing, always willing to help, and the Travel For Care assistance from Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) made getting Jesse to his treatments possible.

“The travel care we received was such a blessing,” said Nikki. “We had to drive to radiation five days a week. So if it wasn’t for ALSF, that would have been a huge burden on our family’s finances. We are so thankful to this organization for everything they did for our family and for sweet Jesse.”

Jesse’s strength and determination with this whole experience has blown his family away. He handles everything with grace, never complains, and has always pushed through everything that has been thrown at him. He is a hero to all who know him.

“We couldn’t be more proud of Jesse,” said Nikki.
