Isabella was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma almost 4 years ago. In the last four years she has fought this terrible disease and relapsed 4 times (most recently August 18). She had a large CNS relapse 3 years ago that she was able to beat, but the cancer just keeps coming back. She continues to fight hard every day and I'm amazed at her strength. In the last three years she has raised close to $100,000 for neuroblastoma research as well as the Make a Wish Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House and other various children's cancer charities. She takes the time to support charities that have supported her by speaking at events, collecting money or being the face of local chapters. All of this she does while being in treatment. She is my inspiration.
