Alex Gordon Baseball Classic

Midwest Sports Productions (MSP) is excited to organize the 6th Annual Alex Gordon Boys Baseball Classic on August 7-8, 2020 to help fund much needed childhood cancer research. Kansas City Royals and 6-time Rawlings Gold Glove award-winning, left fielder Alex Gordon has lent his name to this competitive tournament. Throughout his career with the Royals, Gordon has been a big supporter of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). For more information on Gordon’s efforts with ALSF, please visit Royals.com/Lemonade.

To help raise funds, each Alex Gordon Boys Baseball Classic each team is encouraged to participate in the Champion for Kids with Cancer initiative and fundraiser or have a lemonade stand to make a difference. For June and July, turn hits, runs or strikes into lifesaving research dollars. Have family and friends pledge a donation based on the goal your team decides. Through your personalized webpage, friends and family can make a one-time donation or pledge a dollar amount for your athletic accomplishments. For example, $2 per hit x 50 total hits = $100 for kids with cancer. Aren’t playing tournaments in June and July? You can also fundraise by having a lemonade stand, asking businesses to support or whatever fun activity you can think of! The top 4 teams that raises the most funds will win various prizes including a Meet & Greet with Alex Gordon, tickets to a Royals game (as allowed) and early entrance to the K on August 8, 2020.

All money raised by August 1, 2020 the Alex Gordon Girls Fast Pitch Classic will be donated to ALSF to help the fight against childhood cancer. All funds must be submitted by Monday, August 3, 2020 in order to be eligible to win prizes for this event. Continued donations are welcome after the deadline, however they will not count towards your total for prize packages.
