We hope that you and your families have remained safe and healthy throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) continues to monitor the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and the guidelines associated with holding large events. The Greats Chefs Event Chicago 2021 will remain postponed until further notice. The health and safety of all involved remains our top priority. We look forward to the time when it is safe for us to gather once again!
ALSF is committed to the cause of helping children and their families battling cancer. We will continue to plan virtual or socially distanced events in the coming months including alternate culinary experiences. We will announce any future event details via email and social media when they are available.
Our hearts and thoughts remain with our incredible culinary community. We are tremendously grateful for your longstanding support and we wish you continued strength during this challenging time. We look forward to the next time we can come together to support kids fighting cancer. Please contact Laura Cocchia at [email protected] with any questions.
We would love for you to join us in the future!

Become a Sponsor
Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations for the 2021 event. Sponsorship package details will be coming soon. For more information, please contact Laura Cocchia at [email protected].
Donate your tickets, tangibles, time or talent to bettering the lives of children. You will be recognized for your donation both online and at the event. In addition to demonstrating your support, remember that an auction donation can result in a new client or customer and that all donations are tax deductible. Fill out an auction donation form to donate to this year's auction.
If you have questions about the auction, contact Allison Goldstein at [email protected] or 866-333-1213.
Join the Committee
ALSF is looking to establish committees of people with the following positions. We are looking for 1-2 people for each position. Time requirements include monthly committee check-in calls and emails along with whatever is necessary to successfully manage the role. Committee Chairs should anticipate a commitment of 20 hours (over 5 months) while Committee Members should anticipate a commitment of 10 hours (over 5 months).
Auction Acquisition Chair(s)
Solicit auction items for Live and Silent Auctions. Auction items can be, but are not limited to, any of the following: sports/theatre/concert tickets, signed memorabilia, jewelry/clothing, toys, electronics, restaurant gift certificates, spa packages, vacation packages or one of a kind experiences.
Bring the fun to the event and assist in acquiring one of the most important aspects: beverages! Submit online donation requests, speak with and make connections in the beverage industry to secure donations for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Assist in finding floral and any other décor donations for the event. Help organize and set up any elements involving décor the day of the event. This will include helping to set up guest tables and hanging signage.
Marketing & Promotion Chair(s)
Spread the word and help sell tickets to the event. Pursues all avenues to create a broader audience and generate interest. Chair will work in conjunction with the ALSF Public Relations team to promote the event through social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Garner sponsors for the event by helping to create a list of businesses to then solicit. We ask that chair(s) will open their “rolodex” and reach out to their personal business contacts in the hopes that these contacts will support the event. Chair(s) will not only make the initial ask but also commit to following up with their contacts via email or phone. Note: ALSF will take care of any administrative responsibilities (i.e. drafting, printing and sending letters).
We couldn’t host events without volunteers! Gather supporters to help with the event including greeting, check-in, raffle/auction, and check-out. Volunteer shifts can also include the setup and breakdown of the event.
General Committee Member
For those who would love to support the event but cannot commit to lead an area or would like to focus their efforts on more than one specific section.
Please contact Laura Cocchia at [email protected] or (610) 649-3034 for additional information.
