The Young Professionals of ALSF are now in Boston!
What are The Young Professionals of ALSF?
The Young Professionals of ALSF bring together ambitious and dynamic young adults with an interest in philanthropy who are dedicated to fulfilling the mission of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) – ending childhood cancer. The group was founded to mobilize professionals to help continue Alexandra “Alex” Scott’s vision of finding a cure for childhood cancer, “one cup at a time.” The Young Professionals of ALSF support ALSF’s efforts to raise money for childhood cancer research projects, increase awareness of childhood cancer and support patients and their families.
Comprised of a variety of young professionals including teachers, healthcare and business professionals, vendors and those simply looking to give back, The Young Professionals of ALSF promote ALSF’s mission and awareness to a broad audience. Through various networking and fundraising events, the Young Professionals of ALSF engage members at a point in their lives when they are looking to support a cause both financially and through volunteerism.
All Young Professionals of ALSF chapters share one goal: to continue Alex’s legacy and dream of finding a cure for all kids with cancer.
Currently, there are Young Professionals of ALSF chapters in Philadelphia, New York City and Boston. Long-term, the goal of the Young Professionals of ALSF is to have chapters in several major cities across the country.
