Vessel Work

Founded in 2011 by Kathy McLain, Vessel Work emerged from a powerful collaboration with Public Health Television (PHTV, Inc.), fueled by five National Cancer Institute grants in partnership with the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center at Case Western Reserve University. This groundbreaking work led to the Urban Cancer Project®, a collection of culturally competent videos and television stories revolutionizing cancer communication. Vessel Work is now focusing its efforts with unwavering determination on a cause close to Kathy’s heart: helping researchers defeat cancer.
