Courtney was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), on October 2nd, 2003 when she was 9-years-old. Courtney went through 2 1/2 years of chemotherapy, with her last dose of chemo on April 7th, 2006. Courtney never  complained and she refused to let the cancer get her down, the only time she cried was when she found out she would lose her hair. She fought a long and hard battle and won!
