Ellie was diagnosed with T-cell Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on November 30th.  She was airlifted from Anchorage, Alaska to Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland on December 1st.  She had tumor lysis syndrome and was transferred to the PICU for dialysis. We had to stay in Portland until December 24th, but her ANC count went up to 1700 so we were home for Christmas! On January 7th we were given the news that her marrow is in remission and we can move out of induction into consolidation treatment!

Sawyer is a young man with a big personality who always shows so much love for others. When he was diagnosed with germinoma, treatment had to be tailored specifically to him since he also has Down syndrome. Luckily, it worked and today Sawyer is NED!
