Libby is a lover of life, with more energy than one could imagine. She loves to sing, dance and act more than anything. She is smart, kind and a hard worker.

Libby had a 99 degree fever with no other symptoms for 3 weeks before a complete blood count detected a low red blood cell count. Originally, the doctors thought she had a spleen disorder. When they ordered a sonogram to measure her spleen they found a three pound tumor in her right kidney. She was diagnosed with Wilms tumor March 27, 2012 at the age of 6.

Libby's tumor was growing into her inferior vena cava. When the three pound tumor was removed, a piece of the tumor broke off and pushed to the lower right ventricle of her heart. She then had open heart surgery to remove this piece from her heart and pieces that had pushed to her pulmonary arteries. Libby was diagnosed as Stage 4 and began chemotherapy and radiation. On October 22, 2012 she was found to have no evidence of disease.

Libby’s mom hopes that she will be content, happy and healthy in whatever she chooses to be or do. Libby's biggest hope and dream is to be on Broadway. Libby has an unusual tenacity and zest for life. She has handled her illness and treatment with the most remarkable amount of grace.
