Rainey was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at the age of 5 months. The cancer was found incidentally through testing for another medical condition.  Thanks to an early diagnosis, amazing doctors and surgeons, Rainey is doing well today. Her tumor was taken out along with her left adrenal gland and she did not require any other treatments, other than monitoring until she is 6-years-old. Rainey is seen by neuroblastoma specialists at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and we couldn't be in better hands.

Thank you to all who have helped us on our journey including family, friends and doctors. To those who trekked up to the city with us to offer support, or allowed us to stay overnight when we had 5AM check-ins, or to listen when there was processing to do about the seemingly unfair turn life has when your child is diagnosed with a disease – thank you!

We realize how lucky we are and our hearts go out to those who are still faced with the disease. Rainey is such a strong, resilient little girl and full of light and kindness.

Every day that I get to hug her and tell her how much I love her is a blessing.
