On Saturday, May 31st 11:00am – 3:00pm our office, located at 600 Highway #35, Shrewsbury is setting up a lemonade stand to continue the legacy of “Alex’s Lemonade Stand”. We invite you to stop by and share in the fun, and enjoy a glass of lemonade.

We are not only inviting you to stop by but also asking you to help us/associates of the Gloria Nilson & Co. Real Estate Shrewsbury office to raise money for “Alex’s Lemonade Stand” a foundation set up to support research for childhood cancers.

Alexandra (Alex) Scott was born January 18, 1996 in Manchester, Connecticut. Shortly before her 1st birthday, Alex was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. This brave little girl battled the cancer and at the age of 4 she had a stem cell transplant. While in the hospital, she announced to her parents that she wanted to have a lemonade stand and raise money to help doctors to find a cure. Every year she had a lemonade stand.

In August of 2004 at the age of 8 Alex lost her battle. At the time of her death, she had raised $1,000,000 from her lemonade stands.

Our last eight years were very successful with raising close to $60,000. and with your help it is our goal to add to those figures this year! A donation big or small would be greatly appreciated.
