The ECFMG/FAIMER Community Involvement Committee is excited to announce a fundraising and volunteer opportunity for employees through the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). ECFMG/FAIMER will set up a lemonade stand on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Innovation Plaza, right outside of our Philadelphia offices. We will make some thirst-quenching lemonade for colleagues and anyone passing through Innovation Plaza, and accepting donations towards our organizational goal. We aim to generate $400, which will fund one full day of childhood cancer research!
The ECFMG/FAIMER lemonade stand will coincide with ALSF’s “Lemonade Days,” a multi-day event held every June encouraging individuals from all over the country to lemonade stands in solidarity for finding a cure for all childhood cancers. During this “Lemonade Days” event, ECFMG/FAIMER will join more than 22,500 participants fundraising with lemonade stands. The annual event raises more than $1 million for childhood cancer research.
If you are unable to visit the lemonade stand on June 5 or would like to use a credit, debit card, or PayPal to donate to the ECFMG/FAIMER campaign, you can use the "Donate" button on this page.
This donation portal is open now and will remain open for donations until Friday, June 7, 2019.
We look forward to sharing a refreshing lemonade with all of you while raising funds and awareness for this worthy cause!
