Learn More »Brett Jensen was a vibrant, healthy 21-year-old, who had a career change in 2006 that led him to the City of Charlotte, North Carolina. Golf was one of Brett’s passions along with other sports.
A few months after moving, Brett collapsed while shopping and was transported to Presbyterian Hospital. He was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia). Brett's journey for wellness began that day.
Brett was under the care of doctors Mark Mogul and Paulette Bryant from the Blume Pediatric Cancer Clinic and underwent extensive chemotherapy and several stem cell transplants at UNC. Brett remained determined, positive and hopeful along with his parents, Bruce and Gretchen Jensen that he would be able to survive this devastating illness.
Unfortunately his battle with cancer ended on March 4, 2007.
