Just returning from a not-so-great-vacation from Disney - thanks to what we now know is Cancer. On July 7, 2008, Maddie at 19 months of age, was diagnosed with high risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Maddie also carries a rare chromosome MLL gene translocation 4;11. She is in remission undergoing intense chemotherapy treatment under Protocol COG-AALL0232. Treatments are continued until November 2010 in hopes to beat this monster we call cancer. Madison continues to uphold her famous personality and precious demeanor. She is most definitely my hero princess and has more strength than anyone I have ever met.
