Unique Pizza and Subs Corporation (OTCPK: UPZS) proudly announces, its wholly owned subsidiary PopsyCakes LLC, has signed a Licensing Agreement with the Philadelphia (Bala Cynwyd, PA) based Charitable Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF).

Starting in May 2017, PopsyCakes will be selling an exclusive lemon flavored PopsyCakes with the Alex’s Lemonade Stand logo on the back in edible sugar. PopsyCakes will donate $2.00 to ALSF for every lemon-flavored PopsyCakes sold. The custom lemon-flavored PopsyCakes will be sold at various locations including PopsyCakes.com; thousands of Alex’s Lemonade Stands across the US & Canada (participation is optional); ALSF partners and at ALSF-sponsored special events.  

Having a child with cancer is one of the most painful and difficult situations a family can face. One in 285 children will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they turn 20. Despite this, less than 5% of the federal government’s total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year. This is why support for research is so critical to finding better treatments and cures.

Twelve years ago, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) grew from the front yard of 4-year-old cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott to become one of the nation’s leading philanthropic organizations in support of pediatric cancer research. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation focuses on encouraging and empowering others, especially children, to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer research for treatments and cures.
