Hailey Parker was a beautiful, spirited, loving and witty 11 year old girl.

Hailey is also a Childhood Cancer Hero.

In March 2015, Hailey was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma (GBM), a tumor of the brain. Leading up to her diagnosis, Hailey had been suffering from severe headaches. She received an MRI and was sent to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for treatment. Her treatment included surgery to resect the tumor, radiation and several rounds of chemotherapy. Glioblastoma is aggressive. Hailey fought her disease and every challenge it brought with courage and tenacity. Throughout her treatment journey, Hailey inspired all those who knew her and all those who heard her story. Hailey's fierce determination and positive attitude continue to elicit overwhelming love and support and remind us all of what is most important in life.

Hailey was more than cancer. She was a dear friend to girls in her community, an enthusiastic and talented dancer who loved choreographing her own dance routines. Hailey loved the beach, Taylor Swift, working in the garden, drawing, jokes, laughing, spending time surrounded with her family and friends and hanging out with her dog Parker.

Hailey never lost her smile that lit up the world and brightened the day of everyone around her. While fighting her own battle, Hailey hosted lemonade stands with her cousins and friends to support the work of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Hailey’s team, Fight Like Hail has already raised over $15,000 for childhood cancer research. Fight Like Hail continues Hailey’s dream of eliminating childhood cancer and ending the suffering cancer brings to affected children and families.

Throughout Hailey’s journey she sang Fight Song and everyone around her sang along: “This is my fight song, take back my life song, prove I'm alright song. My power's turned on, starting right now I'll be strong. I'll play my fight song. And I don't really care if nobody else believes...cause I've still got, a lot of fight left in me!"
