Everyone that met Will was drawn to him and fascinated by his knowledge of sea life - Will never passed on an opportunity to share that knowledge. Will was smart, funny, had a huge love for sharks and the movie Jaws. Will had an amazing imagination and acted out scenes from his favorite movies like Jaws and Jurassic Park. Will had just started kindergarten when he began to have nose bleeds and looked pale, which prompted the doctor’s visit that changed our lives forever. He was diagnosed with leukemia w/ MLL November 12, 2007. Just one day short of one year on treatment Will passed away from liver failure due to VOD on November 11, 2008. Though Will had leukemia and had to endure all of the terrible treatments, he still had a zest for life and always wanted everyone to be happy. He was brave and strong and so very loved and missed.
