S&T Bank branches across Pennsylvania and several in Ohio will host lemonade stands to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation this June

Philadelphia, PA – May 16, 2025 – S&T Bank will have 72 locations turning lemons into lemonade May 31–June 7 to raise money to find a cure for childhood cancer, one cup at a time. For the third year, the Bank is partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a non-profit organization whose mission is to change the lives of children with cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. Team members across S&T Bank’s branch locations in Pennsylvania and several in Ohio will be hosting lemonade stands and collecting donations to help fund lifesaving research for children fighting cancer.

“We are very pleased to continue our fundraising efforts for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in 2025. For the third consecutive year, our caring employees, customers and community members are coming together to help support ALSF. This partnership aligns directly with our people-forward purpose while helping to fund childhood cancer research,” shared Chris McComish, Chief Executive Officer of S&T Bank.

Lemonade Days is a nationwide event where ALSF supporters host lemonade stands to raise money for childhood cancer research and awareness for ALSF’s mission.

This annual tradition started with ALSF’s 8-year-old founder, Alex Scott. She set a goal of raising $1 million for her doctors to help kids like her fight cancer. Inspired by her actions, people across the country hosted their own stands, and Alex would see her $1 million goal reached before she passed away in 2004.

“We are so appreciative of the continued support we have seen over the past three years from S&T Bank! Their team members and customers have truly helped us make a difference for kids with cancer,” said Liz Scott, Alex’s Mom and Co-Executive Director of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

S&T Bank and ALSF invite all community members to come out to their local S&T branch locations and help fund critical research to find more cures, all with just one cup of lemonade.

For those who cannot make it, donations will be accepted online at Alex's Lemonade Stand. To learn more about the event and find a participating branch, visit stbank.com/ALSF.

About Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. By the time Alex passed away at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million. Since then, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a worldwide fundraising movement and the largest independent childhood cancer charity in the U.S. ALSF is a leader in funding pediatric research projects across the globe and providing programs to families affected by childhood cancer.
