My son, Michael, was diagnosed at age 13 with an astrocytoma (brain tumor) in 2004.  Since that time, almost 16 years ago, Michael worked hard to learn how to eat, walk and talk again.  He worked hard once he was able to go back to school and always had a positive attitude.  He completed college a year early and Law School a semester early.

Michael is now 29 years old.  He is a husband, father and attorney and has his own practice.  He and his beautiful wife adopted 3 beautiful children and have a loving and caring home.  Michael does still walk with a walker but that certainly doesn’t stop him.  He is a true miracle and we are thankful every single day for him to be here with us.  Michael is truly an inspiration.

Most importantly, Michael remains cancer-free!
