Learn More »My son was a healthy child prior to his 2nd birthday. It was then that we went to the Children’s Hospital and found out that he had cancer. We were in the hospital for a month before coming home. After that he went for treatment at the Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston to have radiation.
My son is a hero because he has been through hell and back and is now 13-years-old. He is an A student too! Though he suffers from side-effects from treatment, including seizures, he is such a happy boy and my hero. He never stops laughing and loves being with his friends. We feel very blessed.
