Childhood cancer nonprofit, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, is debuting a special coloring book in collaboration with local renowned pet artist, Jay McClellan. McClellan is famously known for his commissioned dog paintings that are featured at the White Dog Cafe restaurants throughout the Philadelphia area. Once complete, the coloring book will be sold at Alex's Shop and on Amazon.com, with all proceeds benefiting Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A St. Petersburg girl, who is a cancer survivor, raised over $2,500 in hot chocolate sales to go toward childhood cancer on New Year's Eve.
Caroline Gallagher was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 18 months old. She was treated at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg.
Her cancer is in remission but she wants to help her friends who are still fighting.
At 3-and-a-half years old, Sam's parents found a large lump on Sam's abdomen. He underwent surgery to remove it and was cancer-free for a short time. When the cancer returned, it was treated like stage 4 neuroblastoma. Sam has been cancer-free since 2017!
