Upregulation of NET expression to target nanomedicines to neuroblastoma

Mentor Name: Garrett Brodeur

Her main project will be working on approaches to upregulate the expression of NET in G2 or other cell lines by testing the effects of Vorinostat, Entinostat, or Tazemetostat on NET expression and sensitivity toward SN38 and SN38-BG. This will involve doing RT-PCR and westerns for NET and Actin as a control, as well as doing dose-response curves to identify the optimum dose and time to increase NET expression, and then determine relative sensitivity to SN38 and SN-BG.
