Save the Date: Alex’s Million Mile Twitter Party is August 31 #Journey2aMillion

Home » Blog

Every day, parents of children battling cancer travel thousands of miles for treatments. That’s why this September during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re going a million miles to raise awareness and fundraise for cures.

Last year, more than 12,000 people logged miles and raised money for childhood cancer research during Alex's Million Mile in September. This year we’re doing it again!  To get everyone pumped for a month of running, walking and riding, we are hosting the Alex’s Million Mile Twitter Party on August 31 from 1-2pm ET.

Join the conversation to learn more about Alex’s Million Mile, the facts about childhood cancer, the story of our founder Alex Scott and to learn about how you can help ALSF find a cure for childhood cancer, one cup and one mile at a time.  There will also be some great prizes, just in time for you to “Go Gold” all September long.

No RSVP is needed. Just follow us on Twitter (@AlexsLemonade) and tweet with the hashtag #Journey2aMillion.

Can’t make the party, but still want to help? Check out all the great ways to get spread awareness on social media for Childhood Cancer Awareness and then sign up for Alex’s Million Mile!  Start your own team or join a team and track your miles all September long! Kick off your participation in Alex’s Million Mile by RSVPing to the First Mile—a virtual one mile walk on September 1 at 3pm ET.

1 month, 1 cause, 1 million miles... Kids with cancer need your help!
