we're halfway there

September is halfway over — which means we are halfway through The Million Mile and halfway through Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Thousands of supporters are logging miles and fundraising all September long in honor of the more than 800 children that are affected by childhood cancer every day. Participants have logged nearly 300,000 miles and raised over $1 million!

We are so inspired by the peaks they climb, the miles they pedal and the pavements they pound! Here are some amazing, feel-good stories from our Million Mile teams:

1.    Team Smiles for Scarlett is logging miles and raising funds all month in honor of 6-month-old Scarlett, who is battling neuroblastoma.

2.    The TIL Foundation 2020 team is logging every mile and counting every dollar this month to help other kids like their daughter Tillery. They know the significance of every dollar raised – they’re the dollars that got Tillery to her lifesaving treatment.

3.    Laurel logged some mountain-top miles in the Adirondacks with friends this week!

4.    Earlier this week on ALSF Spirit Day, supporters dressed up in their lemonade best and took to social media!

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is launching a social media campaign inspired by ALSF founder, Alex Scott’s positive outlook in times of uncertainty. We want to know how you are making lemonade out of lemons during this time - whether by learning new skills, getting creative, connecting with family or friends through video chat or doing something else that puts a sweet smile on your faces! Share your special moments with us on social media using the hashtag #MakeAlexsLemonade.
