A Gift in Your Will Matters

Legacy gifts, like including Alex’s Lemonade Stand in your will, provide sustainable support to ensure that we can fulfill our mission, no matter what the future holds. 

In 1997 when our founder, Alex Scott, was diagnosed with childhood cancer, the five-year survival rates were just 77%. In 2024, overall survival rates were around 85%.  

We are proud to say that there are children alive today because of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. We take these successes as proof that we can do so much more for kids with cancer and end this disease once and for all.  

As we look to the future, our vision is bold and unwavering: a world where childhood cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease for any child across the globe, and where the cures we discover do not come at the cost of a child's long-term health and well-being.

Alexandra Scott Legacy Society

With a gift in your will or other estate plans, you become a member of the Alexandra Scott Legacy Society, a passionate group of supporters that will allow ALSF to fund lifesaving treatments and cures for generations to come – continuing Alex’s dream of finding cures for all kids with cancer. Society members receive special communications throughout the year.

Alexandra Scott Legacy Society Members

Recently we saw a quote that said, “If you’ve ever seen a kid fight cancer, it will change your life forever.” With science on the cusp of finding better, less toxic treatments and hopefully cures, giving during our lives and through legacy giving enables us to join the fight. Alex and her fellow warriors inspire us every day. As our friend Lauren (whose son Nate did not survive his illness) often says, “Alex’s dream is our responsibility.”
