We wanted to start off the blog this week with a note of remembrance. Sadly, one of our heroes and longtime stand hosts, Eli Matthews, lost his life to childhood cancer last week. Eli was 10-years-old. Eli and his family held several lemonade stands throughout his life, and as came to be their slogan, they “bELIeve” in a cure for leukemia. ALSF hosted our first special event of the year this past weekend, and The Lemon Ball 2011 did not disappoint! Along with each New Year comes the opportunity for new beginnings.
