Compass to Care schedules and pays for travel to and lodging arrangements at a hospital more than 60 miles from a child’s home. Child must be younger than 18 with a demonstrated financial need and on active treatment for cancer.

Family Reach Foundation

Family Reach is a national nonprofit dedicated to alleviating the financial burden of cancer. Working with more than 200 hospitals and cancer centers nationwide, they provide immediate financial assistance, education, and navigation to families before they hit critical breaking points.

First Hand Foundation

This foundation assists children who have health-related needs (e.g., medical treatment, wheelchairs, assistive technology, hearing aids) when insurance and other sources of financial resources have been exhausted.

National Children’s Cancer Society (NCCS)

NCCS serves as a financial, emotional, and educational resource for families that cannot make ends meet when their child is diagnosed with cancer. It provides transportation assistance and emergency assistance for children who have been inpatient for 30 days or more.
