PALO's Lemonade Stand

PALO Media Group has aggressive "give back" goals this year! As a team, we voted on charities that spoke to us the loudest. Alex's Lemonade Stand tugged at our hearts and now we are ready to host the greatest lemonade stand you've ever seen (ok, well at least a really good one!) to give everything we can to those affected by childhood cancer! You can join me by helping me plan this event, attending my event, or making a donation right to this page. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer.  Thanks for your support!Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. Her spirit and determination inspired others to support her cause, and when she passed away at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million.

UMD Tackle Cancer Day

Every day, there are almost 800 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 300,000 new cases of cancer that affect children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research dedicated to childhood cancers each year.At Northwestern Mutual, we believe those numbers need to and can change. We support Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to make a difference in the lives of kids and families living with this diagnosis and fighting the fight. Today, the money you donate has the potential to make a huge difference in the lives of kids with cancer (and their families). Your donation will fund research into safer, more effective treatments and cures. Give today!

Trick-or-TreatMENT ‘22

Hello! During Trick-or-Treating this year, Hempfield Area High School students are in the Greensburg area "Trick-or-Treating" for donations toward childhood cancer research. While many children diagnosed with childhood cancer may not be able to Trick-or-Treat this year, we are here to help make sure they can someday. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Please help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope! Thanks for your support!
