Dallin Elementary School Lemonade Stand

We are holding a fundraiser to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation move one step closer to finding a cure for all children with cancer! The Dallin Elementary School Lemonade Stand is hosted by the Zsembery/Keene family whose son Spencer, a fifth grader at Dallin, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a form of pediatric cancer, at 5 months old. After undergoing treatment as an infant, he is fortunate to be cancer-free and thriving at Dallin!Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year old Alexandra "Alex" Scott, who was fighting cancer (neuroblastoma) and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. Her spirit and determination inspired others to support her cause, and when she passed away at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million. Since then, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement and is one of the leading funders of pediatric cancer research in the U.S. and Canada. The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Please help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope! Thanks for your support!

The money you donate will pay for research to find better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Please help kids and their families by providing desperately needed hope! Thanks for your support!Every donation adds up to cures for kids like my cousin, James.James was not yet 2 years old when his family noticed he started acting differently from his happy self. After being diagnosed with leukemia, James went through intense treatment for the years to follow. I was pulled out of school to go to Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles to visit him every chance I could. We shared a love for orange Tic Tac®s and making people laugh. He was my best friend. When I would visit him in his room during chemo, I dressed up fully in what I remember as a ‘hazmat suit’. One day I snuck in orange Tic Tac®s, waited for the nurses and our parents to leave, and handed them over to him. I only told my mom about this after he passed as I worried I had something to do with it. She assured me it did nothing but make his last couple days that much brighter. The day before he passed, we were outside on the grass in front of Children’s Hospital. He was in a wheelchair and I remember him asking me for a hug. A hug that lasted well over an hour... my family and nurses watched and I saw many of them tearing up. I was too young to understand what was really happening, so I just sat there enjoying my time with my cousin and will never forget it as ‘the longest hug in history’.He lives on through my kids and my memories. With your help, we can blow the lid off this fundraiser!!!

Laney's Lions Tackle Childhood Cancer

The Cherry Hill West Football team is Joining in our fight against childhood cancer !Every day, there are almost 800 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 300,000 new cases of cancer that affect children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research dedicated to childhood cancers each year.Today, the money you donate has the potential to make a huge difference in the lives of kids with cancer (and their families). Your donation will fund research into safer, more effective treatments and cures. Join in our fight to Tackle Pediatric Cancer! 🎗️
