Who is receiving the Alex Scott Crystal Cup Awards?

John Schlifske

When John Schlifske first met Liz and Jay Scott and learned more intimately the kind of support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation provided to kids with cancer, he was nothing short of inspired. Here was a chance to be a part of something that not only helped lessen the financial burdens many Americans faced, but also gave back to something greater. Everything aligned, and a life-changing 11-year partnership was born. “Childhood cancer places a heavy emotional, and often financial, burden on families. It’s something that no child or family should have to go through,” said John. “We’re proud of our longstanding partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and the work they are doing to fund life-saving research and help families experience better quality of life outcomes.”

Aldi

ALDI has always admired Alex’s enthusiasm and determination to find a cure for childhood cancer, and since 2019, ALDI has made this mission their own precedent for generosity by matching $100,000 in supporter donations. Their commitment to our mission has never faltered. ALDI finds ways to go farther and dream bigger when it comes to fundraising. “As one of the fastest-growing grocers in the U.S., ALDI has a responsibility to contribute to causes that support the health and well-being of our shoppers and their families,” says Dave Rinaldo, President of ALDI. “ALDI makes it easy, fun and affordable for customers to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation simply by hosting their own lemonade stands with ALDI Finds or purchasing lemons on their weekly grocery trip.” ALDI has raised $6 million to date, bringing them closer to their commitment of raising $10 million by 2027.
